Friday Fab Find-Hontest Tea Review

Hot enough for ya?  Being that most of the country feels like it's sitting on the  face of the sun I figured today was a good day to post my review on a refreshing drink.

I recently had the opportunity to review 2 different products from the Honest Tea company. I've made no secret to the fact the I am a huge tea drinker so I was thrilled that one of the samples I received was the Half & Half- half ice tea half lemonade. It has a very unique taste, not quite ice tea not lemonade but all together delicious! Super refreshing and at only 48 calories a serving( bottle is 2 servings) it's something I won't feel guilty indulging myself with.Best yet all the ingredients are organic and fair trade certified

The second drink I sampled was the Zero Calorie Classic Lemonade. Zero Calories! Nothing about this drink taste diet. Just sweet enough with the tangy lemon bite at the finish.The secret to the no-calorie sweetness is Stevia. Like the tea all the ingredients are organic and fair trade certified.

I absolutely loved the Honest Tea I sampled and can't wait to try the other 35+ great flavors they offer.

Thursday's Three-Summer Goals

I know that summer is halfway over but I figured if I listed my goals I would be motivated to complete them.

1. Tone Tone Tone

I'm actually fine with my weight but not with my shape. My body is what I like to call "skinny fat". Meaning my weight is low but I still have too many wiggly bits. I want to tone my arms so they stop moving when I do,ditch my unloved handles and pick my butt up so it's stops creeping down the back of my thighs.

2. Finish my DIY projects

I love DIY projects-as you can see in my tag tag line- but finding the time to finish them is something else. I have an adorable chair that I bought at a yard sale that I started to strip last year and never finished. My front door was painted black but needs a second coat and I need to apply the vinyl lettering I bought for it. That is just 2 of the many things I still want to complete.

3. Work Less
Having your own business can be both a blessing and a curse. The blessing is I work from home,can make my own hours,I'm my own boss etc. The curse is I work from home,can make my own hours,I'm my own boss.
Apparently I'm a lousy boss- I make myself I stay on the computer doing god what knows while I should be outside enjoy the weather,hanging with the girls or reconnecting with friends. Summer is short-I need to enjoy it more and cut back on my computer time.

Pretty simple goals- I'll let you know how I do

Well It's finally happened...I'm the parent of a teenager!

Today is Gabriella's birthday. Her 13th birthday. She's officially a teenage. How did this happen?

Wasn't it  just yesterday this was her?

I can't believe how fast it went from her needing my for everything to getting annoyed at me for trying to help.Watching her transform from an adorable little girl to the most extraordinary young woman  has been such a blessing.As much as I complain that my girls are growing up too fast,  I can't wait (well maybe I can wait a little) to see what this new chapter in our lives will bring.
