Now to Take Down The Christmas Decorations
We got our first snowstorm the day after Christmas & since then like most of the country we've been dealing with frigid temperatures, snowstorm on top of snowstorm & then just enough rain to not melt anything- just make our yards and streets a solid piece of ice. Needless to say our lawn decorations have been covered with pounds of snow and pretty much cemented to the lawn by all the ice. We haven't even seen much more than just the tops of them since Christmas day. Forget about trying to move them-wasn't happening. The last couple of days however we've been getting pretty nice weather so things are finally starting to melt. This is the sad, sad view Isaw when I opened my front door this morning
The white plastic looking blob to the left of the phot is a crushed tree
sad remains of a candy cane. It's hard to see
but the base is crushed-probably the result
of the snowblower.
Now that I can finally get to what's left of my decorations I'll be able to get them off the lawn just in time to decorate for Easter.
I love winter
