Friday's Fabulous Find

Ok- here is this week's I can't live without product. It's the Garnier Nutritioniste Anti-puff eye roller. It rolls on a clear cooling gel that is very soothing. I really didn't give it too much hope because I always have puffy eyes with dark circles even on the rare occasions I get enough sleep. Even if I don't have a drop of other makeup on I will always have cover-up under my eyes to avoid small children will running away in fear. However- after using this product for 2 weeks I noticed a difference. I'm not as puffy(at least my eyes aren't) and the dark circle though not gone are definitely lighter. I bought mine at Walmart for around $10.00 and every time I go to purchase another one they are sold out. If you happen to see one grab it!

Friday's Fabulous Finds

Before I give do my first review I want it to be known that I absolutely do not get any kind of compensation for my reviews be it product samples or cold hard cash.It is just my opinion on a product that has somehow enriched my life. So now that I got that out of the way onto the review.

Today I am reviewing one of my absolutely favorite hair products. It's called Glossing Creme by Frederic Fekkai and I have no idea how I survived before I found this stuff. Dramatic I know but I really, really love it!

This multi-talented, leave-in conditioner does it all: Infuses hair with lasting shine, protects from heat styling, fights frizz, and leaves your locks looking sleek and polished. I use this stuff everyday and it is great for " next day I have absolutely no time for a shower hair". It sells for $20-$27 but being that you really only use a pea sized drop it lasts a long time. I usually get it at Sephora online so I can get some free samples too. It is also at some Bath & Body Works stores.

A few answered questions

I figured it was about time I answered some questions I'm getting so here goes...

1. Dawn how come you don't have a photo of you on your blog?

Honestly I don't have any photos of me to put up. I am notoriously camera shy and I'm usually the one taking the photos. I promise that on my upcoming vacation I will have my photo taken.I won't like it but I'll do it. In the mean time for those who don't already know me I'm about 5'7" with long flowing blond hair, striking sharp blue eyes and a porn star's body. For those who do know me just shut up and let me have my moment!

2. When did you start making bows and why?

Great question! I started about 5 years ago when I had purchased a bow to match a dress for my younger daughter Sophia. It was a very pretty but plain bow and it cost me $9.00 plus shipping. It was then I decided to give it a try. After many, many, many unsuccessful attempts I finally made a few decent bows. One day at Sophia's preschool a mom (who has ended up being one of my dearest friends Lori Jones)mentioned that she loved how Soph's bow matched her Gymboree outfit and where did I get it. When I told her I made it she suggested I sell them. So it did. I started in a small boutique, then e-bay then I decided to open my own site and I've never looked back!

3. What about the jewelry?
I found jewelry making to be a natural transition from the bows. Don't get me wrong I love making the bows and clips but I wanted to do something different and so came the second site.

4.Where do you get the names for your jewelry?
I name the jewelry after women I love and admire.

5.So where are the products reviews and contests you promised us?
OK-back off already! I will be doing at least one product review a week starting today and if I tell you when a contest is coming that won't be any fun! If anyone knows of a great product for me to review let me know. I really would love to do reviews for other mom owned businesses.

I hope this has answered some of your questions and if you have anymore drop me a line at:
